Chapter 8

Flashback........

" This child is not right for our kind." a man said screaming at Sparla

" Father this is a gift to the world. I feel that he'll take Flames far please trust me." Sparla said with a smile

" He has evil across his face Sparla can't you see it. His heart will be

demonized and if you don't believe it start believing it because our world depends on your decision." Sparla's father said screaming

" He's the new king of tomorrow tell the kingdom that and that is final." Sparla said angrily

Peron looked back on the day when he was born as he approached his brother who was standing there in human form blocking the way.

" You always knew that mother liked me best." Peron said seriously

" I hated it especially when you turned on all of us and then you banished her. Why Peron did you do this to me and our kind?" Sparkas asked

" The world was different before you were born Sparkas. I wasn't welcome there and you weren't either but soon we'll be when we take over. So join me now we'll be family like always." Peron replied

" No you've never wanted the best for me or anyone so don't pull that on me. I'll never forgive you. You killed my son and I'll never forget that and I'll take it to my grave." Sparkas said firmly

" You too? Just like mom she never wanted the best for you and your still on the good side. Your weak Sparkas I thought you were better then that." Peron screamed angrily

" You're just saying these things so you could move me out of the way. But my granddaughter is not going to suffer the same fate as the others did. You're a sick man you need help, mom trusted you, and you turned on her because she saved you from death. I trusted you and you turned on me because you think I'm goin soft, and the kingdom trusted you and you turned on them because you’re not a man you’re a monster. You banished your brother because I only wanted to help you. And look at me, I'm dead but I've had some time to get stronger. And now I don't have to fear you anymore, like I always did." Sparkas said fire spreading around him

" I'm not gonna fight you my brother it'll only make me weak and to tell you something I still love you and mom and the kingdom it's just this demon it's taking over me." Peron said crying falling to the ground

" Demon if you can hear me let go of my brother and leave his heart!" Sparkas said screaming

" Never!" Peron said getting back up

Sparkas had realized something about his brother. He realized that he was still there and he was still hanging on but the demon was killing him slowly.

Sparkas opened up his mouth and fire set Peron ablaze. Peron caught the fire and threw it toward the mountain and watched as it crushed Sparkas.

" I'm sorry." Peron said crying

" Good job Peron you really are evil killing your own brother man that's low and I love it." Freeza said appearing right beside him

" I know wonderful isn't it? Now go find them and kill them but bring the girl and my son to me." Peron commanded with an evil grin

Meanwhile..........

" I hope she's okay." Halon said aloud looking at Melody

" She'll be fine have faith in her." Melody said comfortingly

" I remember when we first met I was playing catch with my younger twin brother Arealus and boy did he have a good arm. He threw it right in Emeral’s window I took my brother home and came back to apologize.

I climbed up to her window which wasn't a good idea because she hit me upside the head with something heavy and she could hit hard. Well when I was conscience I found myself in her room with a doctor looking over me to make sure I didn't have any eternal damage. She stood there looking bad and when the doctor left she said she was sorry about the whole misunderstanding and that she thought I was Corus a mean snob who was always bothering her. I told her that I was sorry for her window that my brother broke. That's when she realized I was the fourth Sun and she started bowing and asking for forgiveness and I told her that, that wasn't necessary because I didn't want anyone to feel they had to bow down to me. I was very weak from the fall so I was invited to stay in the castle for a couple of days. I stayed for a week. Then I heard the sirens outside singing. I went out to hear their alluring song and then one told me that Peron mistaken Arealus for me and had kidnaped him. I grew very angry and left but first I left a note on Emeral's bed to tell her I'd be gone for a while and maybe even forever. I didn't want to leave that note but I had to I had to save my brother. The day I approached Mount Dark it was the day I felt I lost everything. It was the day I met Peron face to face, and it was the day I handed my soul, my mind, and my heart over to Peron to save my brother's life. I was there for months dying slower and slower each day. And at times I wished that I didn't have this much power so that I could die faster but I had time to think, time to wish. I wished that someone would come and save me and get me away and that wish came true. Emeral came she was so happy to see me even though my face was hideous. But Peron found out and he made me throw Emeral over the cliff he made me remember when Emeral pushed me off the side of the castle and that's all I could remember. I couldn't remember what she had said and done for me all I could feel was rage. But through all that Emeral stayed with me and all that time I wanted to die, I still do. So tell me how can I have faith in her if I can't even have faith in myself?" Halon asked after he poured out his story to Melody

Melody looked as if she hadn't known the answer and she didn't. She felt sorry for Halon at that moment and felt there was nothing for him because Peron took it all. Halon could not take it back because now he has to fight for it.

Meanwhile.........

Electra had been on the train for what seemed like for hours. She had no time to think when the train came she just got on it. She followed her heart not her head because her head was telling her to stay and that she had nothing anywhere else but her heart was telling her go she had nothing where she was but she could have something wherever she went. She could start all over again.

" Miz, this your stop?" the guy next to her asked

Electra woke up startled she didn't realize she fell asleep. She opened up her eyes and looked around and she saw a nice sparkling sign that said

' Welcome to Eria' in many languages including her own ' Welca ta Eria'

" Yes thank you sir," Electra replied getting up and walking out the door of the train

Electra now stood in front of the sign. She smiled at how homely it had looked and pictured the people there. They would be nice and proper and love her all the more because she was just the same. Electra kept that wish deep down hoping it would come true.

Now inside the building she walked around hoping to find someone who could tell her something. Erigone stopped her in the hall.

" Excuse me I don't think I've seen you here before." Erigone said looking at Electra strangely

" Oh I'm sorry miz my name is Electra I'm from Digita and I was wondering if I could stay please I have no where to go." Electra replied sadly

" Yes you may but I'm afraid there aren't any rooms left but I suppose I know one group of people who wouldn't mine sharing with you." Erigone explained gesturing Electra to follow her

Erigone led Electra to one of the rooms on the top floor she knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it.

" Hi Song this is Electra she's an exchange student who needs a room to stay in. Can she stay with you?" Erigone asked

" Yeah Miss E no problem." Song said shrugging

" Thank you." Electra said to Song and Miss Erigone

" Hey have you heard from Lily and the others yet?" Song asked sadly

" No, I'm afraid not there's no way for them to keep in touch with us I'm sorry. But you'll be the first to know if I hear anything." Erigone said and then walked away

" I hope they're not hurt." Song said sighing looking at Florale who was playing with Squeakers

" Is there something wrong?" Electra asked concerned

" Yeah our friends are at Flames looking for the second part of the Phoenix because Lily who is actually Princess Pyra has to get it before Peron gets it and we haven't heard from them for six hours." Florale replied sadly

" Maybe there's something I can do to help. I'm from Digita and there everyone knows how to make communication possible. All I have to do is use my cyberscreen to locate a ship near Flames, Ring the communicator there, and it should automatically page someone else. All I need is a microphone, a tv, a digital camera, and a wire." Electra explained

" Well I have all that right here I'll go get the digital camera, microphone, and the wire and the tv's over there in the cabinet." Song said quickly moving about

When Electra got everything, she connected the digital camera to the tv and then connected the tv to her cyberscreen and then plugged the microphone into the camera.

" Alright, give me a few minutes to locate the ship. Ah I see something the communicator is beeping in a few minutes we should get........." Electra started

Just then Jimmy's face appeared on the tv screen. Everyone was happy that they finally got hold of someone.

" Hey Jim, it’s Song, What's going on there is everything alright?" Song asked worried

" Yeah we're fine how'd you all get a hold of us?" Jimmy asked confused

" It was Electra's idea she just came here a couple of minutes ago." Florale replied

" Hey guys I'm glad you could get to us I wish you could be here. And Song, I'm sorry for screaming at you earlier I didn't mean to." Lily said taking the communicator from Jimmy

" It's okay I understand." Song replied with a smile

" Hey guys, I'm picking up something, three objects are coming towards yall and from the looks of their strength I think they're witches." Electra said quickly

" Roger that, if one of us doesn’t get back to you all in thirty minutes get back up. Bye!" Jimmy said hanging up

" I think I know which witches these are." Song said angrily

" Which ones?" Electra asked confused

" Freeza, Tera, and Rainy." Song replied with a snarl

Meanwhile......

" It’s a good thing they got hold of us before we were caught off guard. Everyone, stand guard, lets take these witches by surprise." Moon said drawing his sword

" No let me do this." Emeral said as she made a huge water wall that turned into stone

" Wow how'd you do that?" Moon asked amazed

" When you happen to be trapped in your castle for eternity this is what they teach you." Emeral replied with a smile

" I'll stay back with Emeral in case the witches get through that. Jimmy and Michael stay back with us. Irin and Moon go with Lily and get the Phoenix we don't have much time!" Elle commanded

" I like a woman who can take charge," Michael said laughing

" Don't be flattered." Elle replied with a smirk

Lily, Moon, and Irin flew up to the castle on a floating saucer and walked up to the guards.

" Who goes there?" the guard asked

" Princess Pyra, Prince Moon, and Irin we've come to collect the Phoenix." Lily said loudly

" I don't believe you." the guard said squinting

" I remember you but you had a beard the day I was born and it was red not brown. Mom always called you General Tomato even though your

name is General Tamalan. Didn't you hate that?" Lily asked laughing

" My word it is true you've come back to save us." the guard said taking off his hat and bowing

" There is no need but Peron is here he's going to......." Lily started

" Say no more you all go right in I'll hold back anyone as long as I can." the guard said stepping aside

Lily, Moon, and Irin walked through the space where the door used to be. Lily started to remember things both painful and good. She remembered the day of the feast when her father placed the necklace around her neck that was a good memory but it soon turned to bad when Ica came into the picture. That's what she saw when she walked into the dining hall.

" Ah." Lily said gasping

" It's okay what happened was hard on everyone especially you and me

but we can't think about that right now." Irin said softly

" Pyra Pyra come to me." a voice said

" Let's go to the throne room I remember being there last." Lily said leading her friends down the long hall

They stopped and she remembered Ica and what she said. She couldn't help crying as she thought about how her parents suffered that night.

" Hug me you two." Lily commanded

Irin and Moon did as they were told confused at what this was leading to.

" Ole Esperiomes Thronus." Lily chanted and a bright purple light formed around them and transported them to the throne room

" Pyra is that you?" a woman asked hopefully

Lily started to remember who the woman was she remembered her voice. Her face lit up with joy.

" Gretchen is that you?" Lily asked happily

" Yes oh how is this possible. Oh I thought I'd never live to see my Pyra again." Gretchen said happily

" Wait Lily that's not Gretchen that's Tera." Irin said drawing his sword

" No it's not how would you know?" Lily asked getting behind Irin

" I'm just telling you that I know trust me." Irin said angrily

Moon took Lily's hand he wasn't sure of what Irin was about to do.

" Tera I'm sorry but you've done this to yourself not me." Irin said madly pulling Moon and Lily out through the side door and setting the room ablaze

" Your going to betray me and your father in one day. Man you’re good." Tera said with a chuckle

" Don't you ever call Peron my father he has never been that to me." Irin said angrily walking away Lily and Moon followed

Five minutes later........

" Your Peron's son." Moon said meaning it as a question

" I don't want to talk about it right now." Irin snapped

" The real Gretchen might be in here somewhere and Irin, thanks for saving my life." Lily said with a smile

" No problem I'd do anything for family." Irin said with a little smile

" Rock-a-bye princess on her throne." Lily started in a low melody

" When you're old enough you'll be on your own

To rule the Phoenix

So sleep my little princess soon you'll have what you wish." someone sang finishing the song for her

" Gretchen is that you?" Lily asked following the singing

" Yes it is I'm glad your friend here seen through that witch I would've lost you again. Listen I know everyone tells you your parents are dead but they're still alive you'll see them someday after this war is over. Now we don't have much time summon thy Phoenix with your heart let it know that you are thy master and it shall come to you." Gretchen said softly

Lily closed her eyes and summoned the Phoenix forth it was strong but it was calm. It looked like a fiery sphere and when it landed in Lily's hands it turned blue. It was now in it's rightful place.

" Thank you Gretchen now you can finally rest in peace." Lily said softly as she watched the woman who saved her life return to what she was, a bird and watched it fly away

" I guess we can go now." Moon said

" Ah are you leaving so soon." Freeza said standing in the doorway

" Don't power up Lily that's what they want so they could take both Phoenixes away from you. Let me handle them they can't steal power from a Palegon." Irin said with an evil grin as he threw a hard fire punch at the witches which sent them through the walls

Irin threw fire at the wall and made a hole big enough for him to fly out of with Moon and Lily in his arms. Jimmy and the others had already had the ship ready to leave which was good timing because the witches were already on their tail. So they quickly got into the ship and Jimmy put the ship in hyper drive and the ship transported quickly and they were on their way back to Eria.

" Whoa that was intense." Moon said gasping

" Did yall get the Phoenix?" Emeral asked

" Yeah we got it but I'm afraid a war is about to start." Lily replied

" Then let's give Peron and his witches everything we've got." Irin said angrily

Twenty minutes later.......

" So Irin how did you know that Peron was your father?" Lily asked aloud

" Chalai told me. He said Ceratonia thought I was going to grow up to be like my father so one day they kidnaped me from his castle and wanted to kill me but they couldn't because I was too strong. So they left me in Paldenia Garden hoping some animal would kill me but Chalai found me and raised me but he reminded me every day that I was a Palegon and that I could never change that." Irin replied

" Is that why you don't trust me?" Emeral asked

" It's part of the reason but I'm like that with everyone I'm sorry if I offended you." Irin said

Moon stood over in the corner confused. Irin had judged him because he wanted to be someone different and here he is trying to be someone else as well. Moon could see right through that tough shell that Irin was actually a little softy yeah the ones who cry when they got hurt.
